VIMATHERM industrial exchanger is a dismantlable gasketed plate heat exchangers with flange connections. A pack of plates, usually made of Stainless Steel, is placed between two very thick carbon steel end plates. The whole is guided by a roller assembly and pressed by several tie rods to obtain its watertightness.

VIMATHERM heat exchanger consists of:

1. one plate pack,
2. one fixed head used as front support,
3. one mobile head fitted with a roller assembly,
4. one top guide bar used as a track guide,
5. one end post,
6. one bottom guide bar,
7. one set of tie rods allowing to tighten the plate pack.

 

Depending on the working data, the four connections can be either all four on the fixed head or two on the fixed head and two on the movable pressure plate.
